This valve assembly indeed serves as replacement inlet water valve for many brand dishwashers, and at a very fair price. The 5w solenoid/coil was factory installed, so I had to swap to the supplied 10w solenoid for my 23 yo Whirlpool. (An OEM replacement is no longer available). I was surprised by how light weight this pen is. I have had other tactical pens and they were much heavier. This is not a negative. It also screws together, the other pens have slid together. This is also a positive. My work tends to eat the mechanisms in even tactical pens. Upon The nitial inspection this pen writes beautifully and seems incredibly durable. I have some bushes in front of the house. Every year I was trimming them with hand shears. That was the pain how long it took and to keep straight line while working. These made a huge difference. 15 min and done. No assembly needed and surprisingly very light weighted. This really does glow. But most of them are very tiny. They should not call this the dark stars. Because none of the stickers is shaped like stars. As I mentioned, it glows pretty well. But it does not stay on too long. I had some stick on to my flashlight. Once the flashlight got hot. The adhesive is very cheap. The stickers started to come off. Even if I didn't touch it. My earlier review below stands.Here's an update after a little under 2.5 years:It worked flawlessly, until it didn't. It just stopped working one day. And unfortunately it failed in the unlocked state. I couldn't even manually push the door lock down. Needless to say, that was a bit worrisome.I ordered another actuator (different brand) and had it installed in about an hour.
