The area I live in is pretty rough, but with the Tactical Pen, I can stroll through town safe & unafraid. This appears to be a very viable tactical pen that could be used for self defense. The weight seems to be okay for EDC and fact that it came with an extra refill is great. I only rated it a 4 because I'm a Unibal RT Gel pen user and I just hope I can find a fine point gel refill for this pen. If that's the case I'll rate it a 5. Of course just is just my preference and I admit the ink cartridges that came with the pen write very nice with a smooth ink flow.

I was surprised by how light weight this pen is. I have had other tactical pens and they were much heavier. This is not a negative. It also screws together, the other pens have slid together. This is also a positive. My work tends to eat the mechanisms in even tactical pens. Upon The nitial inspection this pen writes beautifully and seems incredibly durable. It also comes with 3 ink cartridges. I shall add and update things go awry but Initial inspection leads me to be hopeful.

Im ex military and work for a fire department, i love this pen. I carry it everywhere i go whether I'm at work or not. This pen is solid and writes beautifully. I can not believe that is pen is less then $20 i would have easily paid $40 for it. It is an awesome pen. Very sturdy. Nice and heavy. Looks great and strong. My husband loves it. I actually write with it very smooth. Only down fall that disappointed me was it came in a Ziploc bag and because it was a gift it would have just looked so much more presentable in a box or case. But otherwise nice.

Love this pen! It's hefty and well balanced in hand. Writing is almost effortless as the pen glides across the paper so smoothly. The "tool" has a pen at one end and a window glass breaker at the opposite end. This pen is so cool. It’s actually heavy so you can tell it’s good quality. I received it two weeks earlier than it originally said. It’s going to be the perfect gift for Police Week for my husband.

This is a decent tool for the price, and it writes well. There are a few issues that should be known. The mechanism inside the cylinder that holds the ink cartridge and threads the pen together is poorly made. I took the pen apart straight out the box to see how to change the cartridge and the mechanism shifted making it hard to put back together. I had to remove the window punch to push the mechanism back in place. Another thing I noticed is if you move the clip it will loosen the window…

Surprised my husband on Valentines day with this military type tactical pen. He didn't have a glass break item for his vehicle and really liked this particular feature. Absolutely horrible clip on this pen. I have pocket knives that I couldn’t lose if I wanted to since the clip actually works on my knives. I lost this pen in less than 10 minutes due the clip being lose, not tight. I had it my front pocket of my pants and it just disappeared after a cab ride in NYC. I had just put into my pocket after a flight and it didn’t even make it to my hotel.

Well built. Nice, aggressive knurling. Very strong and sharp glass breaker. But because the glass breaker is so sharp, it’ll stab you in your thumb if you’re using a thumb reinforced ice pick grip. You can put your thumb over the pen part and use the glass breaker as the striking surface. That would be less uncomfortable. This pen not only looks amazing, but it is surprisingly light-weight and ergonomic.
