This pen not only looks amazing, but it is surprisingly light-weight and ergonomic. I was initially concerned that such a bulky pen was going to be more useful as a novelty rather than as a serious writing implement, but those concerns quickly disappeared when i started writing. The pen is very comfortable in the hand and nimble. I like to write in cursive and this pen easily flows on the page. So far the ink cartridge is smooth and consistent, and the pen comes with a spare ink cartridge which is cool.I am military with years of experience writing in the field in various operational environments using different kinds of writing implements with different types of gloves. Although I have not yet used this pen with gloves on, I can tell that it will be quite easy to use in the field with gloves. And the sturdy construction leaves no doubt that his pen would be quite durable in the toughest conditions, even combat conditions.I highly recommend this pen to anyone looking for a sturdy field pen or looking for a unique, functional writing implement for around the office. I know that I will be buying more of these.
