I was overdue to replace the two Black&Decker VP100 Type2 batteries for my 20-year-old B&D cordless screwdriver. Even after charging, they didn't hold a charge long. So I bought these Energups in July, 2020. They worked fine, but were difficult to seat correctly in the OEM charger. Nevertheless, with some effort I got them to seat so that they'd get recharged, but I often had to resort to channel lock pliars to remove them from the charger as well as the screwdriver. These batteries worked fine in the circular saw and two drills but got stuck in the flash light. The width is just a little too much to be extracted easily. One even broke in the light. Otherwise, bringing these old tools back to life is awesome. Returning bad parts was a breeze and replacements arrived quickly. Just wish B&D would continue with what sells and is reasonably priced before changing.

Fits my B&D versapack tools perfect Snug in the charger, but no issues, a tug pulls it out. Better run time than my original B&D batteries. I've been using them for over 6 months now with no issues. I plan on buying more. Followup after quite a bit of use and over a year's time: still as happy with these as day 1, they hold charge and work better/longer than the B&D gold.

I received these yesterday. One had a charge, the other did not. Both fit the tool and charger with no problems. Easy in, easy out. I put the one with a charge in the screwdriver and it had more power than the ni-cad batteries I bought a year or two ago. I put the second battery in the original Black & Decker charger. My batteries arrived yesterday. Like others they are snug, but fit. Also like others, the charger did not work until I discovered the problem. The ferrule is a bit closer to the end than the original batteries so the charger grabs it there before both contacts touch. But a rubber band around the top of the battery and the bottom of the charger holds it down while it charges. These are powerful batteries to replace my dead/weakened original B&D VersaPak batteries. I was able to grind the rust off the bottom quarter panel lip of our SUV on one charge with plenty of power to spare. Appears to be compatible with the original B&D charger. The fit is tight but not unmanageable. In fact, the tight fit allows you to pop the batteries slightly out of the charger gto prevent any charge leakage. I use these batteries in a B&D screwdriver that I have had over 20 years. I have bought several sets of batteries during that time. I bought two of these batteries and put one in the driver right out of the box, without charging it. I am still using it and it is strong. Never had that kind of performance from any other battery.

Have an old Black & Decker cordless screwdriver that I have used for many years. Over those years the original batteries slowly lost the ability to keep a charge. These fit my screwdriver and have given my screwdriver new life. They hold a charge well over several days and have increased the torque back to the old days when I first got it. I don't actually have much experience with these batteries to determine life but I was very pleased to find thses so i can contninue using all those black and decker tools that had become oblolete for lack of finding replacement batteries. And, they are NiMH which I hope will be better than the old NiCads. Not a bad price either and the quality appears to be quite good. Fits my Black& Decker tools & Scumbuster well, they are not difficult to fit. They are quite a bit lighter than the original batteries. They charge well and have kept their charge so far.

The size is a bit different from the Black & Decker originals I was using. The Versapak series had several model numbers - and there are slight differences as a result in size and electrical specifications (i.e. VP1xx) in this product but it still is close enough to do the job for now. I got two of these for a total of 4 batteries. They came along quickly from Walmart and were well packed. They charged OK and ran the drill OK. They all show about 4.04 volts after setting for a few days so all looks well. That's all I know about them so far.

These are a fair price and these batteries appear to be a quality replacement for the original Versapak batteries. Shipped on time, they work fine now (perhaps just a tad tighter than the original Versapak batteries, but will have to see going forward if they have a reasonably long service life. At this point, their best feature is that they are 3000mAh, rather than 2100mAh.

The two lithium batteries came with a charging station. It did NOT include a power supply for the charger, nor did the instructions include any information on this. It did include a USB-C cord. Fortunately, we had a Samsung power supply for a tablet that would work as a stand-alone instead of connecting it to our PC.Not a very good way for a company selling batteries and charger for a electric screw driver.

I bought two of these to power my VersaPak blender and snake light. They have been working great, with plenty of power to keep the blender going quite a while. Even with the new battery, the snake light was weak. The snake light simply had a weak bulb. I bought a replacement LED bulb, and now it works great with the new batteries. This battery could be could be a real solution to a nasty problem. That problem is that B&D no longer makes the GOLD batteries. This battery can be charged in any of the normal R&D charger with NO problem in over charging. It is also cheaper then most of the available batteries. It also has long life.
