Good product -- I believe! Likely better than rating I can currently give.

This valve assembly indeed serves as replacement inlet water valve for many brand dishwashers, and at a very fair price. The 5w solenoid/coil was factory installed, so I had to swap to the supplied 10w solenoid for my 23 yo Whirlpool. (An OEM replacement is no longer available). The install was possible while the dishwasher remained under counter.Unfortunately, I also have another problem and will have to remove the dishwasher to resolve, so I can not yet evaluate this valve's performance, and…

The Gasket supplied was too narrow

valve works perfect The gasket that comes with it is too narrow use the old one if good otherwise you will have a big leek Thanks for attention!

Does Its Job best in my review

When my old inlet valve quit working I looked hard to find a replacement part but I've got an older model dishwasher and the part was no longer being produced for my model by the manufacturer. I had to order this "universal" replacement and I got more or less what I expected.The Bad: Upon arrival it was clear that this piece was not of the same quality as the one it was replacing; it wasn't as heavy, it had plastic in some places where the original had metal, and it just didn't seem as sturdy…
