When my old inlet valve quit working I looked hard to find a replacement part but I've got an older model dishwasher and the part was no longer being produced for my model by the manufacturer. I had to order this "universal" replacement and I got more or less what I expected.The Bad: Upon arrival it was clear that this piece was not of the same quality as the one it was replacing; it wasn't as heavy, it had plastic in some places where the original had metal, and it just didn't seem as sturdy overall.The Good: The price was significantly cheaper than original manufacturer replacement parts for newer model, the part came with instructions that were accurate and pretty easy to follow (most d.i.y.ers could handle the job I think but you would have to be able to turn a screwdriver and have some notion of how to get at the part but that's usually on YouTube most important it fit my older model dishwasher!Bottom line: I'm very satisfied. I got what I paid for. Its a cheap part both in price and in terms of materials/craftsmanship but it works and for a frugal guy like me who's trying to squeeze every bit of life from older appliances its kept my "classic" model running. Can't all for much more than that.
