Review on πŸ”© Included Fastener for Drywall - TOGGLER SNAPTOGGLE by Tom Roberts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

These drywall anchors were perfect for my work.

I installed 3 grab bars in our master bathroom, 1 in the toilet, 2 in the shower. After doing some research on how to do this for shower tiles and the tools and parts needed. For my setup I couldn't hit all of the anchor points of the wall studs, for those that weren't on the studs I chose TOGGLER SNAPTOGGLE anchors. One for installing drywall was straight, on one end I was able to hammer the stud with 4 screws, on the other end I used 3 TOGGLER SNAPTOGLE anchors and the rods are secure. In the shower room I bought 1/8" and 1/2" tile/glass drill bits, 1/8" earlier I saw if there was a bolt in the area and then used 1/2" to drill the bolt to drill. I could use 1 regular screw but I also needed 2 TOGGLER SNAPTOGLE anchors on each end. They're pretty easy to install, but I solved a problem. (I'll get to that later) Another pole was mounted on an outside wall with a lot of insulation, here I had a problem with two TOGGLER SNAPTOGGLE anchors. When I pushed them through the 1/2" hole, I pushed too hard which broke the plastic near the switch and prevented the screw from engaging. I noticed that the insulation doesn't allow the switch to seat properly. Using a screwdriver I pushed the insulation back and away from the hole so the cup would sit flat on the inside surface of the drywall. Basically, after everything is done and everything is fixed, all the rods have 3 or 2 (with 1 screw) of these support rods on the wall at each end.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
