These shoes support the foot and cushion the buttocks and heel. I only give them one star because the little toe of the right boot has a hard rubber cuff. I can't cut this flap because it's very stiff and you can't see it because of the high vamp of the boots. Aside from my right leg being irritated, I feel like something is bumping into it all the time. Worse, the flap comes under my toenail, making it feel like my right little fingernail is being ripped off with every step. I didn't think to test the inside of the shoe with my hands and feet because that's just not what you'd expect from a shoe designed for comfort. Socks don't help, I'm tired. You can get lucky and find the perfect match, or you may not. Quality control is clearly lacking, which is why I highly recommend checking the inside of your shoes very carefully. Don't buy if you can't return the shoes.
