Review on πŸš— Husky Liners 99671: High-Quality Weatherbeater Floor Mats for Subaru Legacy & Outback (2015-2019) by Randy Brimmer

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Great when new but will warp over time

At the time of writing this review these Husky liners have been used for just under 11 months and have clocked up 22,000 miles on my 2016 Subaru Outback. I chose these earbuds over the WeatherTech brand based on reviews stating that they are not as stiff and offer a bit more flexibility, which seemed like a desirable attribute. I was very happy with their fit and appearance when I first put them in the car. After about six weeks of use, however, I noticed that the left edge of the driver's seat cover (obviously the most commonly used) was lifting and curling inward, opening a slit that allowed dirt to seep into the carpet. I started paying close attention to left leg position while riding, and it was always inside the liner. I also wondered if Minnesota's cold winter weather had an impact on it, but it never relaxed as much as I'd hoped later on in the warmer months. In fact, after eight months of use, it got even worse, and now I'm starting to notice that the much less-used passenger seat is also starting to fold inward. The almost never used rear seat upholstery still holds up great and looks stylish. Had I written this review within the first six weeks of owning these pads they would have received a five star rating. But after seeing them hold up to a year of use, I now need to order replacement front bushings before another Minnesota winter rolls around. Rolled edges let through too much road salt and sleet and are currently more effective than standard Subaru floor mats. Unfortunately, the warranty on these earphones only covers cracks, not deformation.
