I’m a big fan on this company: they have outstanding customer service and I love their products. I purchased these plates hoping against all hope they’d stick better than other models with the same purpose. Unfortunately, that was not the case.I’ve tried using them on a wooden table surface: ours is a more rustic table, but still had the normal veneer/finish. My 1YR old gleefully ripped the thing up on 2 seconds flat after I’d laboriously ensured there was a tight connection on each of the four suction points.Bummer, so I moved to suctioning it to the tray of her Stokke Tripp Trapp. Again, laboriously ensuring all the suction points were well connected…apparently the baby has super human strength because it was ripped up in less than 1 minute and she stared me dead in the eye while dumping her full plate of dinner over the edge of the tray. She’s not talking yet, but I’m sure if she could she’d have said something along the lines of, "is that all you’ve got.” At that point, defeated by the baby, I just caved in and put her food directly on the tray and she commenced eating it and smearing it all over the place with enthusiasm.Great product, I just wish they worked better at actually stating stuck to the two surfaces we eat off in our home.
