Now that the Fitbit One is obsolete, I'm using Alta. The BEST way to get an accurate step count is to wear it on your hip. Example: If you wear Alta on your wrist, put your hands on the handles of a treadmill or shopping cart, Alta thinks you're resting and not walking, so no steps. This holder will not only help you increase the number of steps you've earned, but will also free up your wrists to wear watches and bracelets. I've had mine for a few months now and it's still in great shape. The bright orange color makes it hard to ignore, which is a good thing!
