I bought these to add versatility to my 80w Weller soldering iron. I also needed a tip or two for use with lead free solder to avoid cross contamination. They work great with iron. They fit perfectly and heat up in a reasonable amount of time. It lasts a little longer than ceramic core irons, but holds the temperature well. I use that for stained glass, so it's extremely important.
