Ok, in full disclosure I received this product on November 19, 2019. I bought it for my police car. It was in my backpack until Monday March 30th. With Covid-19 our responsibilities have changed so now I'm with my team all day and not in the office so I plugged it in. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday it worked quite well. Then on Tuesday the little motion detectors didn't work and the arms wouldn't open. I unplugged it, counted to 10, plugged it back in and it worked the rest of the day. On Friday April 3rd he stopped working all together. So I didn't request a refund due to the time frame, my fault, but I expect the item to last more than 5 days. Today I opened my arms to charge my phone. . By the way, the armrests are great for a cell phone without a case. I have a small thin case and my hands only grab the edge, it fell out once.
