Review on 44 Lb Seaweed Bliss Premium Soluble Seaweed Extract (0-0-17) - Gardeners Delight! by Andrew Mclemore

Go easy on mixing, use 1/2 instructions or less. Smells like low-tide & attracts flies.

Mix an 1/8 tsp or 1/16 even to start, just enough to tint the water in your spray bottle a light wooden hue, not black… spray the undersides of your plants’ foliage, and don’t drench the plant. Excellent for seedlings or clones until they are vegetative enough to make the switch to water enrichment feeding. Will not save plants that are already into shock, but for those of you who don’t like a "hands-off” approach, this product used sparingly (gradually up from once to twice per week) will give your little garden babies more than enough of what they need to get growing. Remember, less is more and that too much nutrients will kill your plants faster than anything once they lock-out absorption from the soil. This is ideally for baby nursery plants, not so much for seedlings that can’t survive a flushing if you overdo things.

Pros
  • As described
Cons
  • The salt content in the extract may be too high for certain plants
