Bought all 3 NEON litters to try. I thought the color and sticky silica would be unique and my cat is unique if not quirky. For fun I filled the tray with bright orange NEON and then added some hot pink and bright green to the yin yang pattern. Okay, I know it was a little crazy, but I wanted to impress my cat. Also, since the packaging said the bedding should be 2-3 inches deep, it required a full bag of orange and some pink and green to get the bedding down to the correct depth. after visiting the tray she didn't look the same) but we both like the tray very much. The granules are small (like sand) and since Sasha is a domestic cat, her paws are sensitive to large debris such as granules or large granules of clay. There was no dust in the bedding and the odor was fully controlled. Ideal! Even better, the bag says to only scoop 2 times a week. I scoop every other day but it's still way better than the 2 times a day needed for some casts. As we keep the litter box in the family area we need perfect odor control and neon delivers that. Also the color of the tray makes it less irritating to the eyes. Sasha easily switched to this tray. Lumps are easily removed and the rest of the fill is clean without the "yellow" specks seen on some crystal pens.
