Review on 🌸 Precious Series Assortment of Six Scents - 12 Boxes, 10 Cones Each - HEM Incense From India (SEO-Optimized) by Tina Waters

I liked everything except jasmine and sandalwood

This incense is packaged very well. There will be no shift at all. The cones are approximately 1 1/2 inches high and 3/8 inches wide at the bottom. They burn for about 1/2 hour. The burner is simply a metal plate with a recess in the center to accommodate the cones. It holds ash well and gets a little hot when burned, so keep that in mind when using it. I just received this today. I'll write a little bit about each of them as I burn it in hopes it might help some of you. In the packaging they smell the same as burnt. I wasn't sure which scent I wanted to try so I bought this pack. I have never tried anything from this brand and this is my first time using incense sticks in a cone. Amber: You can tell what it is right on the box. :) A real amber scent. Nice and honey. It's strong though, you probably don't want to be directly over your altar when you burn it. Up close you can smell the smoke, but if you're further away you can't tell it's incense, just a sweet scent. Jasmine: The lovely floral scent in the sachet makes me think it will be a pure jasmine scent... very slight odor when burning. Definitely jasmine. There's something else, but I can't say what. Not one of my favorites but I think I can get used to it. Although it definitely smells better from afar. They also don't have enough jasmine to mask the smell of the material the combustible cones are made of. Lavender: The sachet has a very fruity, artificial lavender scent, like the candles you can buy. Doesn't smell like lavender. I hope it burns differently... Deep lavender scent. Also easy. Actually I like this one a lot. Musk: In the pack it is very sweet and woody. It smells exquisite with ambergris... real musk. It's a bit heavy, although maybe it's just my nose from burning so much incense today. It is very pleasant and intoxicating. Patchouli: There is little patchouli in it. This is a light fragrance. Smells very peaceful. It's more like Japanese incense sticks, which I like a lot. Hardly any smell of smoke. Sandalwood/Chandan: There is no pure sandalwood in the bag. More like patchouli. You can tell there's sandalwood in there, but that's not the only thing that's in there. It will probably smell like another Japanese style incense stick... It is a very light sandalwood with a strong scent. It is not as deep as sandalwood normally has. I can smell saltpetre or charcoal or whatever they used to make it combustible. They don't have enough aroma to completely mask that smell. Of these, I like jasmine and sandalwood the least, which is ironic considering they were the ones I was looking forward to the most. laugh :)
