Installed on a 2005 Subaru Outback XT with 5 speed manual transmission. Goods correspond to the description. The product fits without any modifications. OEM Subaru Group N Transmission Mount, manufactured from stronger rubber than the original part. It was purchased to replace the original flimsy "slotted" or "slotted" bracket. It fits perfectly. However, this added very little audible vibration and some noticeable vibration to the clutch pedal and shift knob. Group N engine mounts added at least four times more vibration than the transmission mount. Overall shifting performance was the same as in daily riding, but felt tighter and more direct. It's kinda hard to explain. Power transmission from the engine driveshaft to the flywheel and clutch is now more sensitive to clutch pedal depression. Less "soft" clutch when shifting from one gear to another. Overall, I am very satisfied and glad that I chose this mount and not other offers. Was it $40 more than Rockauto's $35 anchor mount? Probably not for my car with 210,000 miles and $3,500 curb. But I'm still happy with my purchase and think it's good value for an upgraded component that's also an OEM Subaru.
