Ideal for most flat bars of soap. Just make sure to clean up the crumbs in between. If crumbs are present, it can result in uneven or curved bars of soap. Just be sure to peel it off and your bar of soap will cut nicely. Unfortunately it's not perfectly aligned so you end up with a thin slice, but that's great for a quality sample. Overall a great soap product. Good luck and happy soap
