🔪 Yarlung Stainless Steel Straight Slicers for Precise Cutting Review

It's pretty wide for the way I originally intended to use it, but I managed to do it. Quality product, really well finished. Robust construction. I've used it quite a bit to cut through soap and it's a lot easier than freehand, but it still takes some practice to get it fully lined up. It seems to have been going on for quite a while.

It should work fine, but it can't cut bars of the same size. There is too much play in the slots causing them to be unevenly sized and not always straight. Even after trying to slide cardboard into the slots to minimize play, they still came out crooked. Try it on bread instead. Don't waste your money when a good old knife will give you an equal or better cut.

Ideal for most flat bars of soap. Just make sure to clean up the crumbs in between. If crumbs are present, it can result in uneven or curved bars of soap. Just be sure to peel it off and your bar of soap will cut nicely. Unfortunately it's not perfectly aligned so you end up with a thin slice, but that's great for a quality sample.
