This product does not provide enough video cables on the tailgate or camera side for proper connection. You cannot use the service opening at the bottom of the rear passenger side door. TO USE THIS PRODUCT YOU MUST CHECK THE HOLE IN THE BOTTOM OF THE REAR COMPARTMENT DOOR. Other similar products provide enough cables. I drilled a hole. Apart from that it works fine. Just note that you need to remove the tailgate and drill a hole just below the handle, otherwise you will not be able to use this product. For reference, I have a 2012 GMC 1500.
