My husband and I love to travel on a budget with minimal items. Now that airlines are charging for bags, we decided to purchase this backpack as a personal item. We flew to Florida with United for 5 days in economy class. Basic Savings now means you can't carry carry-on or checked baggage without a fee. These packages are perfect for the measuring station. That's right, we didn't have any leg room. We were just happy to have all our stuff with us. When we measured our bags, they were 2 inches longer and wider than online. So we were very happy to be able to pass all the checkpoints without any problems.
