Excellent POE Camera

This camera was the easiest POE/IP camera I have ever installed. I would honestly say it was easier to install and set up than convincing my wife to help me install it on my back porch. I noticed 2 minor problems with the camera, which could be a simple optimization on my part or just a limitation of the camera itself. I tested this camera with several different NVR and automation programs. Everything from Home Assistant and Zoneminder to free NVR software from Amcrest itself. Motion tracking and zone configuration allowed for some pretty unique Home Assistant automation, and the added ability to record locally to an SD card and NVR software at the same time adds redundancy. The image quality on this camera is leaps and bounds better than my Ring cameras which cost three times theirs, even in low light the camera outperforms them. The only real issues I had with the camera have to be solved with the IR LEDs on the camera. The LEDs are arranged in a circle around the lens, but when the camera is mounted on a bar or bracket that acts as a ceiling mount, some of these LEDs are hidden by the camera body. This doesn't affect the overall quality of the image, it just makes the top part of the image a bit darker than the rest as it's overcast. If the camera is wall mounted this is not a problem as the lens points straight out of the camera body and does not protrude over the edge of the camera. The other one is so minor it's funny because it's a vandal proof camera, the whole camera has a housing that fits over the lens so people can't move it, but it's a fingerprint magnet that breaks the image a bit blur until you find a spot. White gloves are essential when donning the camera after installation. All in all I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone looking for superior image quality at a fraction of the price of the competition. Add to that the fact that it can be used with almost any NVR software (MotionEye has bad latency) and this camera becomes the best value for money I've tested so far.
