These are specialty scissors that use a manual handle instead of the traditional opening and closing of a drawer and a cutting finger. The scissors are bigger than I expected. They move pretty easily. The loops are for opening the scissors, NOT for attaching to your wrist. I could cut with both my right and left hand. I don't think they work well in detail, but for those with limited hand movement this is a very good alternative for basic cutting tasks. Those with arthritis are likely to benefit the most from them. Whether they wanted to cut out a coupon or a photo for a scrapbook, these loop scissors would get the job done. An interesting product that will definitely satisfy a person's needs.
