Excellent way to hide cords

The cable clutter under my desk is out of control. Laptop, Chromebook, desk lamp, ceiling lamp, printer, heater - I was fidgeting, so I was constantly kicking, tangling and disconnecting cables. Enter this field: I now have a stool and my cables won't trip. It's not very thick plastic, so don't play soccer with it. But for a good box with holes and a lid, it's aesthetically pleasing and serves its purpose.

Pros

Measuring 12" in length, it fits into any space in power strips < 12" in length and keeps any extra cords neat and tidy.

Can’t close the lid even with two hands. Ridges on top of the plastic is rough, not smoothed out.
