Review on πŸ”‹ MakerHawk PCB Module Battery Protection Board: Small Power Management for UPS by Amy Weaver

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I've used some of them now and they work fine and work nice and cool

I've used some of them in different projects and portable power packs now and they work great and charge very fast. Keep in mind that if you don't use a heavy-duty charging cable, it may not charge very quickly, or if you don't supply enough power to the module. In my experience they work fine at 12 volts, but they work even better at 20 or 24 volts if you have a good 5 amp RMS power supply behind them. But you have to try the different cables you have and stick a boost probe into the input, and you might be surprised at how quickly your device charges with a quality cable compared to a regular cable. The only negative I can point out is that the blue LED is absolutely insanely bright and I really want someone to tell me why they use these LEDs on the boards because for example if you have the board open and aim at the ceiling, you The whole room will have a blue ceiling at night. A simple fix is to stick a piece of black tape over the LED, which will reduce and block the brightness to an acceptable level.
