Very happy with these tulips! They are so beautiful and the red color is so bright. It's hard to tell what the material is, some kind of rubbery plastic, almost like silicone. The material has a certain plasticity, which allows you to move the petals and bend the stems. To look good! The only drawback is the smell. We need to get them out on the porch for a week to vent. You can actually smell a strong chemical odor if you hold your nose to it, and a faint chemical odor from afar. Once they're weathered, we can enjoy them! Update 4-9-19: Two bouquets of flowers took a week to air out on the windy side of my porch. I tied them together and placed them as open as possible to withstand the winds, of course the stems were pushed upwind. I would buy more for gifts or for home use! You are so beautiful. Just air them well before giving them to someone or using them at a wedding. And please be careful! They hurt my chest after sniffing them up close. Update 02/19/20: Red tulips are beautiful after a year! The white tulip turned so yellow (in a year) that I forgot I had ordered a white one :(. But the yellowed one looks good! Who knows? I suppose the more pigmented the color the better.
