You get what you pay for and I paid for a pile of .

What a waste of money. It easily falls apart even after it’s built because if you tighten the screws which is almost impossible to do alone it doesn’t help. It still comes apart. I managed to get it up but if I pushed it it would fall apart. It’s just a series of metal bars. They provide water protection rubber tubes for each joint but I can’t see how this thing won’t rust after a while. If you try to build it you should have another person so the pipes don’t keep falling all over you. I regret

Pros
  • Very good product. Had it for almost 5 years!
Cons
  • for climbing roses...needed to be wider

Terrible Design: Do Not Waste Your Time

I have purchased several arches and this is, hands down, the absolute worst. I will be returning. It provides screws, but no screw holes. It provides seam sleeves that are too big and do not secure or cover anything because they fall down. I am not sure what their actual purpose is. The whole thing is unsteady and falls apart at the slightest touch. I can’t imagine how it would stand up to a breeze. The only good thing about this product is the paint.

Pros
  • Plant Support Structures
Cons
  • The Black Rose Garden Arch by Gardman R350 is too narrow to accommodate larger plants and bushes

we needed a pretty decent Arbor/ Arch to connect the two

This Item was exactly what I was looking for. My husband I purchased a Kiwi Tree (male and female) which we planted on either side and since they are very "viny" plants, we needed a pretty decent Arbor/ Arch to connect the two. All of the stores sold them too big for the area we needed or were too expensive. This arch was the perfect size for a reasonable price. It didn't seem very sturdy out the gate so I was a little leary, but we had a pretty big wind storm and this little guy stood…

Pros
  • Gardening & Lawn Care
Cons
  • The arch doesn't withstand harsh weather conditions and may get damaged easily

I wouldn't recommend it. If the company would pre drill the .

If this arch were not being used simply as set dressing for a play it would be sent back. It took a professiona, with specialized tools,l 3 hours to assemble! It's extremely difficult to drill into a curved surface. And the bars for the top of the arch arrived crushed. Again it is being used for a play. We were able to camouflage the damage. But if you are thinking to order this for your home. I wouldn't recommend it.If the company would pre drill the screw holes or use interlocking tabs it…

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • A little less strong than expected but it works for the price.

They will NOT replace defective parts!

When we tried to assemble the 4 curved parts that make up the arch at the top of the arbor, none of the 4 matched. All different sizes and shapes. I called Gardman and they told me send it back to Revain, all I was requesting was for them to replace the 4 defective pieces. DO NOT waste your time or money on this!

Pros
  • Provide an archway for climbing plants to create a beautiful entry into your garden
Cons
  • It works, but one of the pieces bent immediately. Pretty cheaply made, should cost around $20.

Caution: DO NOT have the kids around while assembling

You will use every cuss word you know and then some while assembling this.I wish I had read the other reviews first. YES! Just go get black Gorilla tape and tape every joint. EZ peasy assembly that way.Once up, it's nothing to write home about, but for our rose bushes to entwine over, it's perfection.Just beware that assembly--with tape---20 minutes.Assembly without tape.17 days or more.

Pros
  • It’s ok but not easy to put together by yourself.
Cons
  • you get what you pay for. i broke about 80% of the plastic fittings while trying to put this together.

Frustratingly hard to assemble

I will update this later once I get some black duct tape, but putting this together with the included parts is an exercise in futility. I put all sorts of things together myself, so I figured this was no big deal. Oh how wrong I was. My husband came out to help. We got it assembled, but all of the pipes are too loose for the T connectors. There was no way to move the thing without it falling apart. We tried screwing the connectors in place. There are no holes.so the screws don’t really go into…

Pros
  • Ground hole-maker provided for easy fitting
Cons
  • For this style i should have reordered the simple white arch...much studier and easier to assemble.

Very frustrating to assemble (no instructions)

I didn't get instructions so I spent about 2 hours trying to figure it out, taking it apart and trying several times. I don't understand why there is one pole that has the same connection on both ends female (biggest diameter). Gonna try to get some directions from this seller but not holding my breath. I might just return it instead.

Pros
  • Enhances the overall aesthetic of any garden or outdoor space
Cons
  • The arch's design is too plain and uninspiring

Product Defective But Revain Excellent!

This arch looked like a good value. The design is nice. However, when we tried to assemble it, they had not included the right parts. We contacted Revain who sent us a replacement. That one also had issues and did not have the correct parts. Revain acted in a professional and timely way to resolve this problem. I know it was not their fault because the factory sent out the defective products so to have them handle it in such a fair way was wonderful. I cannot say enough about their customer…

Pros
  • Can be used as a support for fruit-bearing climbing plants
Cons
  • The arch's overall size may not be proportionate to larger garden spaces, making it appear insignificant

Horrible . don't buy it

The instructions were almost impossible to understand . I ended up with two pipes and nowhere to add them. It's very flimsy . The screws don't hold it together because there are no holes in the inside pipe where these are supposed to hold it together . . Find another company!

Pros
  • 19" Long x 39" Wide x 75" High
Cons
  • The black color may fade over time due to sunlight exposure

Very nice for the price b

Not difficult to assemble. It’s what I expected for the price. Just wanted a simple arbor for a flowering butterfly vine to climb. I sank rebar in the garden and placed the kegs of the arbor over it to make it a bit sturdier since I live in Florida and our ground is very sandy.

Pros
  • Provides a romantic ambiance for date nights and special occasions
Cons
  • The arch's lower frame may get easily damaged by lawn mowers or trimmers

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Pay a little more and get a more substantial Arch.

A little flimsy and not easy to install. Even with measuring the distanc and checing it twice, the sides were twisted and I had to make new holes to make adjustments. Looks good once I was finished.

Pros
  • The open construction allows for ample airflow and sunlight
Cons
  • The arch's black color may make it blend in with surrounding shadows, making it difficult to locate in low light

Better than I expected for the price and very tall

I didn't want a fancy trellis because it was going to be completely covered so I took a chance on this one. It is sturdier than I expected for the low price: made of tubular steel that fit together easily. Rubbery sleeves are provided to prevent water getting in and the plastic joints are comparable to those on Honey-Can-Do shelves that I bought previously. The actual height of the arch is 6ft. 3 in. plus an additional 15" to bury in the ground. A length of steel is provided for Making…

Pros
  • Creates a sense of height and dimension in the garden
Cons
  • The arch's black color may attract pests, such as bees or wasps

bent, screws don't work

Rather disappointed. The arch arrived slightly bent in the box. The screws don't work, we had to pre-drill holes into the bars for the screws to go into. Even still, the screws stripped out, so we had to use our own screws. Ultimately it will look ok when the plants grow up and over it and hide the uneven bent parts.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting construction
Cons
  • The arch is not sturdy enough to support heavy floral arrangements

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Three Stars for my opinion

Serves its purpose but putting the little pieces together was challenging. Still bends a bit in the joints. The arch's narrow width may limit its use as a garden divider or screen.

Pros
  • Adds an element of grandeur to any outdoor space
Cons
  • The arch's narrow width may limit its use as a garden divider or screen

Do not expect this to look like a several hundred dollar arch - it is more of the utility arch than a front piece. It looks pretty much like PVC arch, but black. Of course it has metal parts, which are made quite well, but plastic connectors make it look cheap, but well - it is cheap. However, if you will grow some dense growing vines on it, it will look just fine. I bought two for my beans and cucumbers, and other climbing vegetables. I have a small community garden plot, so this will save me…

Pros
  • Can be used to highlight a specific area in the garden
Cons
  • The arch's frame may rattle or vibrate in high winds, making it noisy

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor quality for my opinion

Putting together was a challenge. Quality not the best. Looks ok after ever put together and in the ground The arch doesn't come with any guarantee or warranty!

Pros
  • Provides a stunning backdrop for wedding ceremonies
Cons
  • The arch doesn't come with any guarantee or warranty

super fast shipping

super fast shipping! arrived while I was still motivated to tear my old redwood one down, and easy to install- except I could not pound holes into our hard adobe soil and then easily pull them back out without bending it, so I just purchased four 3 ft. steel rods that I pounded in halfway and then just inserted the top half into the arbor support poles. It makes it higher, which I am happy with and the weight of the roses keep it firmly in place. I like the simplicity of it so that the roses…

Pros
  • Easy to personalize with hanging lanterns, flowers, and other decorative elements
Cons
  • The arch's metal may make it unsuitable for use near electrical wiring or equipment

Great product especially for the price!

Great product especially for the price! I was a little skeptical because of the price compared to others online but this trellis is good quality, nice and heavy. If you lay out the pieces and assemble it on the ground, it isn't too hard. It did take two of us to work together the trellis once it was time to put it together on the top.

Pros
  • Made with a sturdy frame to support hanging decorations
Cons
  • The arch may not hold up well in high-traffic garden spaces

Good support good for me

I am using these to contain my blackberry bushes. Poor quality, difficult to assembleUsed as a garden arbor.! It is a tight area and this product fit the dimensions.

Pros
  • Weather-resistant black polyester epoxy coating
Cons
  • Poor quality, difficult to assembleUsed as a garden arbor.
