Not just because of the hairpin shape.
I ordered these protectors to fit the underside of two 1/2 inch thick rounded glass studs because I was renovating my hardwood floors. I carefully measured the thickness of the glass and am very happy with the look and the result. Protectors raise the glass base slightly off the ground. They look great and I'm not worried about the heavy desk denting or scratching the floor. I ordered 8 and placed them around a semi-circular shape.
