1 Battery lasted 2 1/2 years of heavy use before giving up the ghost. The other still holds a charge to this day, but also turned out to be one that wasn't quite as firmly seated in the controller. A little tape solves this problem. These devices have excellent uptime and my newest battery still holds enough charge for 8 hours. I used to go through multiple sessions of 6-10 hours without a problem before needing to recharge. It's hard to say anything bad about her. I got my money's worth. I was prompted to write this review because one of them died after all this time. Switch to rechargeable AA batteries so you don't have to buy this battery form factor forever. But if you're not trying to go down the rabbit hole, you've found the best kit.
