Because I went to my birthday and missed the return window. Really crazy as these are the worst flashlights I've tested. You have to go through all 7 light patterns to switch off and if you miss you have to go through it again. other cyclists participating in the group ride also thought it was a silly feature. Most other lights just hold down to turn them off. No display when the battery is low, not in lightning speed, turned on and started being rude but then turned off on arrival. It took a while before I realized the battery was dead. Go ahead and choose a different light source.
