Ideal for cleaning! The brush attachment is what I use to clean and it works great. There are a few problems though: you have to MAKE SURE you press the "button" to push the soap out of the water, otherwise the suction will suck up the water along with the soap. in the pen, and then you have watery soap in the pen - not ideal, and haven't figured out how to get water out of sponge nozzles. After using them, I wring them out the next time I use them when they're still filled with coarse cold water from the last wash. I switched to a brush head and used it most of the time. Works better than a sponge or standard kitchen brush and for the price it's worth it!
