I installed this last night and so far so good. I bought this because my TV is in the corner against the wall and it's hard to hear. I have to turn up the volume and I'm afraid it might disturb my neighbors (who live in the apartment). I bought this soundbar to mount above my bed so I can hear the TV and not disturb my neighbors. i really like it The only thing: With this setting, I lost the volume on the TV itself. The sound ONLY goes through the soundbar. I had to turn the volume up almost all the way to hear it on the soundbar because that's the only sound source now. For $50 and peace of mind the neighbors won't complain, I'll keep them, but I figured the soundbar should ENHANCE the sound and not become their only source. ***UPDATE** "I don't know how or why, but this panel keeps dropping my connection. I have to restart the show or movie countless times. i give it back
