Review on πŸ’ Ardell Duralash Naturals Flare Short Black - 56 Lashes - 6 Pack - Professional Quality Eyelash Extensions by Lacey Rinehart

Three packs, no knots, great price!

I've been using false lashes for a few years and these are my favorites so far. There is no knot at the base of the lashes which allows me to really blend the base with my own lashes. I use either Ardell dark lash glue (clear glue is visible when dry) or lash glue I bought on ebay. (Beauty Call brand for sensitive eyes) and both last a week or two. I use a 12x magnifying mirror, sharp tweezers and a bright light when applying my lashes. My goal is to place the lash base on one of my own lashes, in the middle part of my lashes so that they are almost invisible. It took a lot of practice to master, but I think the results are worth it! The short black natural hair is not too conspicuous and doesn't scream "fake" like some others. If I want thicker lashes, I apply more clusters to the outer corner of the eye. I use it on most of my eyes, from the inner corner of the iris to just below the outer edge. I've found that if I put too many lashes on the outer corner, they look more obviously fake. I don't need comments about my makeup - I just want to look good. I get comments from people about how lucky I am to have beautiful lashes. Even my eye doctor (who I expected to scold me for wearing fake lashes) complimented me on how good they looked and asked me to teach her and her assistant a little lesson. She found them to be a great alternative to Restasis, which costs $120 a month. Once you apply them, you must be careful to avoid an oily sheen around the eyes. Makeup remover wipes have too many loose fibers – they get stuck in the lashes and make a mess. Wash your eyes thoroughly in the shower with regular soap (Caress or Dove) and air dry. If any eyeliner remains, I remove it with a damp cotton swab before applying new makeup. I usually have to fill in a set or two of lashes after sleeping/showering, but it only takes a few minutes. Before applying makeup, I make sure my lashes are completely dry and use a small amount of water-washable mascara (I've been using Neutrogena lately) to blend the false lashes with my own lashes.
