I bought this because the original power/charger cable for my Surface Pro stopped working after 4 years. I was a bit hesitant to buy a non-Microsoft charger. (Have you seen Microsoft's charger prices?) I've started using a charger I bought a few days ago. So far no problems! I put my hand on the charger while it was charging and it gets a little warm BUT it doesn't feel hot at all. The reason I only gave this charger 4 stars is because I haven't had it long enough to know how it will perform over time and I don't know how durable it is. There's one thing I don't like about it. The end of the laptop cable is magnetic, BUT hardly. It could really use an improvement. It is very easy to unzip. But it still has a lower price than the original!
