Installing a 5.4 3v 6.5k engine, installing the latest Ford cam followers with a small oil port on the ends, this tool worked great after a bit of filling the shaft where the ring slips up and down would have caught. You read that another brand is bent, this brand is rustproof, more elastic. I would buy this product again. Stainless metal, more like spring metal that springs back to its original shape when squeezed and released. Would buy again even though I had to use a bit of metal fill.
