Update after 4 months: The flickering is almost constant now and driving me insane. I'll remove all 5 and try something else. I strongly advise against purchasing this product. Great idea, but two things bother me: 1) they are physically larger than the halogen bulbs they replaced, which was an issue for me because they barely fit due to the heatsink built into the fixture being too close, and 2) as others have reported having an annoying flicker. For me they only flicker for about 5 seconds, so about 20 seconds after switching on, I live with that now anyway, but I wouldn't buy them again because of that. Without the flicker I would give 4 stars and if they were a bit smaller and didn't flicker it would be 5 stars.
