Look elsewhere for a better lamp.

When I opened the box, I immediately regretted it. The lampshade was slightly bent, although with some effort I managed to get it back to its original position, which isn't necessary with a $75 lamp. The washer at the bottom is offset with a wooden stick, but I was able to straighten it out again with some effort, which the price doesn't warrant. With a little more effort I was able to thread the cord through the base where the hole is too small while worrying about damaging the cord itself. Once that was done I added a cheap decent looking shadow without the harp. No matter what I did, the level was not adjusted. I had another similar shade that matched the level perfectly, so the shade itself was poorly done. However, I like the look of the lamp after all the effort it takes to make it usable. But buying a $75 lamp shouldn't require any troubleshooting or jury manipulation on my part. And while $75 for a lamp doesn't sound like much, it's honestly a piece of cheap wood on a cheap brass base. What a useless shadow.
