We bought this paper cutter almost 6 years ago and it's still sharp and efficient! We never had to sharpen the blade as metal-to-metal contact sharpens both leading edges. Although that's a misnomer and I don't think there is such a thing, it does look like a self-sharpening trimmer! It is very well made with quality components and is very durable with a very reliable cutting mechanism. The size is big enough for all our works, but small and light enough to be easily moved from place to place. We have used it regularly and are very satisfied. It has served us well for 6 years and still looks and works like day one! . Therefore, we can highly recommend this paper cutter. Very durable and excellent product! Thanks very much! :-)
