cute replacement for my mom's watering system!

I was thinking about buying a new solid state digital timer for my mom's irrigation system until I saw this item on YouTube was fixed. I'm glad I got this engine instead of a brand new unit. saved me $ and time, item arrived in a few days and i was fine.

Read this if you are unsure about just buying the motor.

Just because your Intermatic doesn't turn on and off automatically doesn't mean it needs a complete replacement. If you flip the switch down and the sprinklers come on, it's most likely just a bad motor that stopped the timer. Simply unplug, remove the timer from the case and reattach the motor to the back. Save a few dollars and a lot of work compared to replacing the entire unit. A NOTICE. The new motor came without screws, so keep the old ones.

Pros
  • 14" Cable
Cons
  • Slightly cracked

Motor works great just don't pay too much for it

I installed this new motor in my sprinkler control box and it works great. The only buyer regret I have is that I paid $30 for this motor and two weeks later it was on sale for $12. Another consideration is that you can replace the entire timer unit including the motor for $65. So why spend half that amount just to replace the motor? But aside from those considerations the engine runs great and if I could buy it at a lower price I would be an even happier buyer.

Pros
  • AC 125V (AC)
Cons
  • Long delivery time
