I bought a paperlike screen protector in April 2020 for the intended painting purpose. I'm an amateur artist and don't draw every day, maybe once a week. The reason for the purchase were the YouTube reviews and the supposed improvement from Paperlike 1 to Paperlike 2. This is my review after 4 months. Pros: I hated painting on the original glass pane because of the oil on my skin. making the screen incompatible. Paperlike helped with that, giving my screen a more tactile drawing surface. Glare is reduced and I can paint in direct sunlight. the price is a little more than worth it. Cons: Scratches incredibly easily. I've included 3 screen images, 1st with scratches without lighting, 2nd with lighting, and 3rd with the screen in the current drawing I've finished. As you can see, after just 4 months of drawing, various scratches appeared on the screen. I admit that my hand is a bit heavy when I draw, but scratches on your screen are still not very nice. cool considering i can buy a matte screen protector for $10 which can also scratch that much in 4 months but cheaper. Verdict: While the screen scratches fairly easily, it's not that easy to see on my iPad when it's on. But scratches are very noticeable when you look at the iPad at an angle or when it's turned off. I would recommend Paperlike if you want a matte screen protector that focuses on screen quality and doesn't bother scratches that much. I won't recommend Paperlike if you don't like screen scratches for 4 months and don't use your iPad to draw (i.e. people who use iPad to take notes). Just buy a cheaper matte screen protector, it's worth it.
