You get what you pay for.
I bought these because they were cheaper than most other options and there was a lot more in the pack! Yes they are soft and absorbent like most cotton balls but they are very small. They didn't last very well when I applied my beauty tonic and moisturizer to my face. Normally I can use 1 cotton pad for both products on my face but in this case I had to use 4 to apply my entire face π So you get what you pay for! Not a bad product, just not what I need! These would be better suited for first aid or crafting!
