One of the best things about this is it plays a couple of Christmas songs so that when using it you won't get bored. When we first put this out, we found it covered a lot more space than you would think. Be careful not to put it on a table or a smaller circumference spot. This Gnome will walk right over the edge. We have a fireplace with a large area in front which was perfect.It takes AA batteries and you should put them in carefully as they will be unable to operate if they are not all connected. The switch to turn on is one that is handy and when you place this down it will operate right away.Great idea and something that the kids will really enjoy! Highly recommend!
