Review on πŸŽ’ Green Black Chemun Portage Pack by Tyler Markham

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Normal for this money: hiking backpacks

size 18 x 9 x 23 so more like 3700 USD. I just used this for a week on the Allagash River in Maine. When I received it I saw that the fabric was a little light so I added some rivets at key stress points (shoulder strap attachments, handle attachments and key body corners). I did hear a few seams squeak here and there during the ride, but overall it holds up well, doesn't tear and dries quickly. It will work as a lighter bag, if you're the kind of person who tosses your bags in and out of the boat this bag isn't for you. It offers enough space, but is more the size of a grocery bag. The pockets at the bottom really aren't that useful, they're small and hang onto other items when I try to get the backpack out of the boat, I left them empty after a few days, I'm considering cutting them off. . I've used it as a gear bag, it works well for a double burner but not much room after that. Was good as a gear bag for 2 people. So there you have it, I hope you find the sizing info useful, I couldn't find anything on the sizing before. The package is pictured alongside a 7 gallon bucket for size comparison. I would buy another one if I go on a group tour.
