I'm guessing there are reviewers who are able to remove and re-solder these components. But if you're only familiar with removing and re-soldering a resistor or power transistor, you'll find it a lot more of a chore. There are over a dozen solder points, and you can easily destroy PCB pads or damage other components while trying to persuade damaged sensors. If you have experience with that, great. But if that's not one of your core competencies, you'd be better off replacing the controller given the time and effort involved.
