Didn't last a day

Buckle didn't last a day. It didn't break or anything but I took it off my belt after less than a day of use. The buckle was intended to replace the cheap thin plastic Wish buckle. I'm afraid it will break, but so far it's holding up. It was hoped to replace it with a metal buckle. The part of the buckle that catches the flat end of the belt works fine. The teeth bite well and seem to engage well. The problem is with the clasp. The clasp does not close securely. The first time I buckled it, I accidentally let it go. I found it very easy to open it again. However, I decided to see if it would hold up to my use, so I pulled it back up and left it. Later that day I placed the holster on my belt along with the gun and fastened the belt. As I was preparing my dogs for a walk the weight of the gun was enough to loosen the belt and it came loose and I had to catch it. It's definitely not safe to carry a gun. Finally, at this point, I removed the buckle from my belt and reattached the cheap plastic Wish buckle. The super cheap thin buckle might be more prone to breaking at some point, but it stays closed much better than this buckle.
