Read the negative reviews here but this pump is a perfect OEM replacement for my 2009 BMW E60. I'm not a car enthusiast, just an avid DIY enthusiast, but this was an easy one hour repair in my garage that probably saved me $500 in labor and parts costs at the dealer. The low-pressure pump looks solid and hasn't leaked from its sealed housing after a dozen quality checks. While there is only one notch on the outlet tube, my original factory pump had the same one. Other users have complained of spills when the hose is reconnected, but I've found that if you disconnect the hose instead of pressing it flush against the pump body, you get a watertight fit that prevents the pump from moving hose moves / leaks. It is also true, as advertised, that the pump does not come with a strainer (sold separately) and the bushing does not exactly match the factory model. No problem, just use the factory bushing and strainer as they fit perfectly onto this pump's liquid suction shaft. By the way, I just watched a short YouTube video, ordered the part (arrived in less than 48 hours), pulled out the broken pump and installed the new one. The most time consuming part: Remove and replace the wheel after replacing the pump. Bottom line: For only $11 I'll be very happy if this pump lasts just a few years and I'll be checking out the store for Mean Mug Auto parts. Future!
