For the money this is a great way to protect your expensive investment. Is it as good as Otterbox or other more established brands? Probably no? But based on my own experience it will do 95% of what my more expensive cases can do. Best of all, these cases usually give you the angles, textures, and curves to capture on your tablet (or phone) while giving you a better grip on them. This prevents falls and minimizes potential damage to the $1,000 screen. If you drop it from a normal height (like 5 feet) I have no doubt that it will protect the iPad. The kickstand on the back also feels solid and has good viewing angles. The only downside I would point out is that I wish the stand had a narrower viewing angle. But I'm an artist by trade and I feel like this only affects me and won't affect 99% of people. So it's not really a scam. And again, it's only $25. It's worth it.
