I would give more stars if not for all the problems I had. The device itself works. I put it in the best headphones and it played great. HOWEVER - I ran into two major issues with my Mac running El Capitan. First, the Audacity software is offered to operate this device. A small 3" Audacity CD is included with the unit. DO NOT PLACE IT IN YOUR COMPUTER. THIS ____ DOESN'T WORK! I had Audacity and it stopped working when El Capitan was installed. I tried installing it multiple times and it showed the icon but wasn't running. So here's the problem. The next topic was more important. My Mac didn't recognize the device itself. I read online that it could be a problem with the USB connection because some of the "Cheaper" devices could have USB issues, so I swapped out the USB cable that came with the device with another one I had from another device that was just you plugging in a USB port to get additional USB ports I had 3 extra I connected the device to one of the three and voila! IT WORKS! MY MAC SAW IT! I then used Garage Band instead of Audacity and set the input to PnP USB Audio Device NICE - IT FUNK TION LAST HAIRS OFF HEAD HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE!
