That does not work; low quality; return to sender

According to other comments, I've tried this with several flash drives (256KB, 512KB, 8GB, 16GB) properly formatted as FAT32. The ready light is not flashing. No entry. Follow the instructions carefully. Nothing. Playback was of poor quality. I tried different tapes. Homemade or commercial cassettes sounded equally bad. Playback worked best with a USB port connected to a PC for power. The two AA batteries didn't work well and were very hot when I took them out. I am returning the unit after a…

Works great in manual mode.

I had very old cassettes that I wanted to digitize. This product is very suitable for this. I love the fact that it's a standalone device so I don't strain my computer while recording - I just have to insert the flash drive and copy the files. I found that the "automatic" mode (which is supposed to create separate files for each track) didn't always work. Small but relatively efficient for converting cassettes to MP3

This compact device is a marvel of miniaturization, designed to convert cassettes to MP3 files. After spending many hours learning how to use it, my own experience is that miniaturization has become overused to the point where it has become difficult to use. Good quality offline recording from cassette or AUX-in to USB flash drive

Recording from cassette or AUX-in to a USB flash drive with a standard Type A connector. None computers required. The sound quality is good. It can play and record in any direction and has an auto reverse function. It can be powered by either two AA batteries or the included 5V 500mA power supply cable via a USB power adapter (not included) or via a USB port on a computer.
