This is a throttle lockout, not an ECU, and it also costs $10 and should be priced as such. It will keep you updated but requires CONSTANT attention to ensure proper speed. Once I slip the rubber boot over my metal/rubber grips, secure the device and tighten the set screw properly, it will give your right hand some freedom while riding. It's not an all-rounder, but it gets the job done for a very reasonable price, eliminating some cramping on long trips, and I can now tune the radio with my right hand while driving. If I want a better device I'll have to shell out almost $140 more, but for what I paid for it I can tweak a little while driving.
